Known Issue: Clicking on Dashboard Opportunity Total doesn't pull up list of opportunities making up that total.

If you click on an item in the Opportunities section of the dashboard you will be taken to a list of opportunities:

  1. If you click on the Amount Awarded, you will be taken to the 'Opportunities' list and see all the opportunities that are set to 'Awarded' for all time.
    • This list is not currently filtered with the date range that is applied on the dashboard (your fiscal year)
    • This list currently does not include 'Awarded-closed' opportunities
  2. If you click on the Amount Denied, you will be taken to the 'Opportunities' list and see all the opportunities that are set to 'Denied' for all time.
    • This list is not currently filtered with the date range that is applied on the dashboard (your fiscal year)
  3. If you click on the Amount Open, you will be taken to the 'Opportunities' list and see all the opportunities that are in these stages: Research, Planned, or In-Progress.
    • This list is not currently filtered with the date range that is applied on the dashboard (your fiscal year)
  4. If you click on the Amount Submitted, you will be taken to the 'Opportunities' list and see all the opportunities that are in 'Submitted' status for all time.
    • This list is not currently filtered with the date range that is applied on the dashboard (your fiscal year)

You can continue to filter or sort the opportunities by using the 'Search' box at the upper right of the list, or by clicking on the column headers on the list. You can also utilize the filter box on the upper left of your opportunities list - it is used to filter opportunities that are in the particular stage you are looking for. But at this time, you are unable to filter based on date in this opportunity view.

Current work around: If you would like to get a list of opportunities that are filtered by a date range, please use the 'Reporting' section of GrantHub

  1. Click on 'Reporting' in upper menu, or select the link by the dashboard chart "view more reports"
  2. Select the pre-built report named 'Opportunities by Status'
  3. The date range is automatically set to your fiscal year.
  4. Click 'Display Report'
  5. This will give you a list of the opportunities in the current date range.
  6. If you wish to see only Awarded, Denied, or Submitted, use the 'Search' field under the chart to filter out just those opportunities.
  7. You can see the list of Opportunities will then only contain the items you are wanting to see - which should match the values shown in your dashboard.
